I was into riding SXS's ( Rhinos,RZR-S, RZR=XP) Iwas really into these for several yrs. Even took an eight day trip to Cali and rode the dessert and dune.33 Hr truck ride to get there.Spent a lot of time in Tenn riding windrock (coal creek), brimestone, and went to H&M once. The prob with this hobbie was all the good riding spots were 6 hrs are more away, The PoPO's stayed in the shop, and it takes 8hrs to wash one of these and hand wipe it down ( thats 2 much FUN). So I sold my SXS's,Enclosed trailer, all accesories bought a lake lot, built a cabin, got some toys now I'm into watersports and Imitating a Fisherman......LOL

LOL that would be true , but say an inexperienced guy like me wanted to take the task on just so he had one that he made for himself, what would be a round about figure it would cost ? . I'm thinking of a spin cast of 8' 2 pc, in a med. light action.

like to tinker/piddle around the house, have been know to tear the interior of a car out to install a decent sound system, surf the web for interesting stuff to try (examples would be "here, hold my beer" or "watch this"), pretty much whatever catches my eye that I want to try, I usually end up doing it.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Kind of like to shoot Rugers.

Also like cooking Caroline's (Mrs Jim) salsa too, great stuff. New hobby since Fall Camp.

I keep thinking I'd like to build one as well. One of my fishing buds lives in central Fla and we ran down to Mudhole rod builders supply just to look around. They do seminars around the country if you were lucky enough to be close to one. Here is their website.

They have a free CD that walks you through the basics. They have everything you could possibly need to build a rod, except in my case, skill.

Oh yea, on the subject of hobbies I play golf fairly regularly. Couple of my golf buddies are also fishing buddies. Like to shoot doves also.

I have a Rhino 660 Special Edition. Also handy to have in our woods and at our Campground. Yamaha makes a good product.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
