No takers yet. Everyone must be employed.
Came to me senses momentarily this am. Got up, had a cup o coffee. Went to bathroom to wash my face. Freaked out over the black eye which was swollen shut. I then took a comatose pill and went back to bed.
I am now on my 2nd try at rise and shine. Not sure where this day is headed. We all have days like this I am sure.
One day at a time. Before you know it, you’ll be back at it!

I worked in my yard and made a little more headway getting the new digs right. Fish were calling and I just couldn't answer. I have wondered if I qualified for the Geezer qualification. After today there isn't even a little doubt in my mind, I'm in. But I will wait til I get a second on the motion. God bless all the vets that read this, I hope your day was off the charts.

Leaf cleanup reminds me of one of my grandmas stories. She had a pretty good sized yard with about 4 mature maple trees on it, every fall she would rake them up and dispose of them....now she was about 85 years old and still doing this. Next to her was a neighbor, about 40 years old with 3 teenage sons......and also some mature maple trees. Grandma said she got all her leaves raked up and disposed of, the next day this Jack#@@ neighbor was out on his lawn with a leafblower blowing his leaves over to her yard. In my eyes that was pretty low so I vowed the following fall if he did that again I was going to make a trip over and "encourage" him to not do that again......however when the following fall came the neighbor had already sold out and moved.
The wind Gods favor me sometimes and sometimes they don't.
