Talking to myself all day produced some good stuff. Noteworthy things such as I accomplished today was that I installed left/right extension limit switches today of the remote controlled rudder of the transducer SLED.. I made the limit circuit from left over magnetic window/door switches which were the round type. It took a little trial and error to get the stop position correct. Reed magnets are not for accuracy to the 1/2 inch. Secondly, I added a rudder position indicator. It is cool. I made the indicator using a slip bobber and an model airplane rudder control rod.
I prob make a short flick tomorrow of the rig. I'll post it here. Maybe I can get more peg counts. If not, I will just put the video in a continuous loop and watch it myself continually.

I've lived in TN my entire life. No, people are generally reserved, until (or if) a trust is built. But when someone does talk, you better listen! It's usually pretty good stuff! Kinda like what you just posted.

Lots of rain in the forecast today for West Tn. We could get up to 7 inches. Parts of Huntingdon will be underwater again. Poor drainage here.
Rain started in Memphis about an hour ago. Hope all are safe in Huntingdon tonight.
Brenda got a new Toyota XLE Camry today. Of course, I got it to make her happy. I like it. All sorts of gadgets. I like the heads up display (HUD). them jet fighter planes ain't got nutin on me.
Of course the Texas storm passed thru here and has made a mess of or place. This car will (maybe) keep her mind off the mess til we can find some help. Not many willing working bodies around here. Lots of Meth Makers though.

My new neighbor. They bought the house across the street at the lake. We drove to the lake today expecting to see someone moving in. Nope. A wrecking crew is tearing down the old house. The folks paid top dolla for the lake view. The gonna make our taxes go up with that new home. It be nice. It is ok. They have the view and I have the lakefront with my tiny house.
They may start complaining bout the clutter of boats and fishing stuff being around your lake front home.
