Well it is all done. Well 99%, I lost 2 screws that mount the rear trim switch to the transom. Everything went together fine. Used a chain hoist and the bucket on my trackor to lower it in place. Draped cardboard over the transome to line it all up with out making marks. Once 2 bolts were in the carbdoard was removed and the other bolts put in. Took them out one at a time and put silicone on them and tightened them down. Installed the board for the transducer mount and called it a day. Left it over night and started back at it this morning and got the fuel filter and bildge wiring done before putting in the fuel tank. Then to the electrical and controls. Last thing I did was cosmetic, I added some cdc stickers. Maybe I can see if she is sea worthy again this week. Name: 20180623_132326.jpeg

    AW MAN! Is it over!?!.
'Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:
The blind see and the lame walk; lepers are cleansed and deaf hear; dead are raised up and poor have the gospel preached to them.

Job well done and it should give you as good a service as the original or better. I do have one question however. In the picture of the fuel filter there seems to be a ground wire gone to a rivet on the hull. I've heard others on the forum speak of grounding anything to the hull of an aluminum boat could cause you to have electrolysis eat holes in the hull. Other than that, go fishing.

Paw-Paw the wire is to the water pump.. I have an Aluminum boat that also has a Lighter plug installed for Accessories . The outside of the socket will always make a Ground Connection to the hull. I do not use the outlet but it is just there. I agree that wire should be connected to the Ground for the Battery

All ground wires should eventually end at negative battery post....do not ground to boat.

Yes that gound wire does go to the hull. That goes to the float switch for the bildge. I had to add that in there, but I am pretty sure almost all my grounds do that. I'll have to go under the dash and look. The TM wires are run to and from the battery to the plug on their own battery. The others go to a buss bar under the dash that is grounded to the hull and wired to batt -. I'll do some more investigation on that tonight.
