Well while the temp and humidity was low this morning I layed down 2 coats of bed liner spray. Going to buy another can today and hit it again this evening. Maybe two times just for good measure. Hope fully I will be putting the motor back on friday and on the water soon after that.
Looking at the holes where the mounting brackets go I may cut some aluminum flat bar and put there instead of just washers. Overkill is not necessary but it makes me feel better knowing it isnt going any where.
The holes in the splashwell where the fuel line and transducer cable go were open before. I have purchased some rubber plugs (like wine bottle stoppers )from stine in broussard. I will drill the correct size hole in them, then split one side and put the respective piece through. It should be 100% water tight when I am done.

Yes and no. My drywall and painting yes, I am way to expensive to do anyone elses. I am a jesture of all trades. I have built houses, from start to finish, trained mechanic, ameteur welder and professional Marine. Of all those drywall and paint are my least favorite things to do.

Well 3 coats of bed liner and I think she is done. The only issue I have is in the splashwell the bedliner is not sticking in the crease. I dont know what I am going to do there but it isnt going to leak there anyway. So now the waiting game for it to fully cure while I figure out the crease issue.
On a better note the last pic is what my wife and daughter gave me this morning. She loves to fish too!

Ok. The issue with the crease in the splashwell I believe is from the marine caulk I put there. I wanted to fill the corner so it would drain better. The tube said that it was paintable I guess they didnt mean bed liner. So today I sanded it down to the caulk and spray painted the whole corner black. Let dry for a few hours then sprayed bed liner again. Hopefully it holds there this time.
I know I took pictures of the sanded caulk but they didnt show up on my phone. Either way it wasnt much to look at and it is black bed lined now.
The corners are bedlined just to do it and it will make a good place to put my new cdc stickers. Now i need to make some slab sauce holders because I have 2 bottles coming too.
