Back in the Old Days of CB Radio, Middle 70s, I like many others jumped into CB Radio. When I sent off to get a license I checked the box for Radio control devices similar to drones or helicopters or aircraft. Now in 2016, forty-five years later, I finally bought my first radio controlled airplane! My choice of aircraft is a sea plane called a PBY Catalina with a wing span just under five foot. It is a model that is ready-to-fly out of the box. However, I will have to do a little work to make sure that the aircraft is watertight. It's maiden voyage the little sea plane will be lifting from the surface of Lake D'Arbonne in about a week. I don't plan to make the maiden launch from the water on the weekend because I don't want to distract crappie fishermen. Nobobdy needs to fall out of a boat. If you happen to see my "maiden voyage", you will be at the right place at the wrong time! What ya'll think?
