Grew up on cornbread with every meal in West Texas - love it. What you have there I could just have that by itself for dinner. Lots of butter of course. On occasion, I make a cornbread in a large cast iron casserole pan. Half the mix poured in, then fresh ground sausage and lots of cheese, followed by the other half.
