Very nice G, I like that. I use something similar but smaller. Nice grill, I could smoke a serious brisket with something that long without a smoke box as long as it is vented right. The grate is just like mine, with the same type of metal - brushed out after repeated uses, but never cleaned shiny. Lose the seasoning that way, of course you know such things. I enjoyed that old newspaper clipping you showed me at the last Toledo Bend gathering of you being a champ smoker. Excellent my friend, thanks for the post.

Fried up some gator and shrimp this afternoon. Did it in the outdoor kitchen as always, don't fry anything in the house. I like's my house smelling nice. The grill/smoker is taking a break. This does work nicely, except I'm disappointed on the batter thickness.

Regardless, we'll put a hurt on that this evening. We'll also do some damage on these peaches:

Man you have to be healthy beyond description, for sure. Those peaches reminded me of Weatherford's Peach Festival today. Had some great Blue Bell and fresh peaches that
were free. An annual event we look forward to every year.

Ann is leaving in the morning for a weekend event in Thibodaux, LA for another lab rescue event that they are having there. Fund raising type of thing, and to promote the NOLA lab rescue that she is involved in. That's good - I likes she does such things. Good for the soul. She said that she will go to the grocery in the morning and buy me some green chilies and cheese. And, she knows what kind of cheese and what chilies. She does that when she goes out of town because she knows I tear that up for dinners when she's gone. That's the way to roll.
