You folks get a standing ovation from me, what a great thing to do!

Judy and I have raised Labs since 1983, whether it be out in the duck blind or in the living room they just seem to fit right in with any family function that goes on here. Last October I had to put down my 14 year old female Honey-Behr, honest to pete I cried like a baby, they truly become one with the family. Currently we have Honey-Behr's grandson who is 9, I've hinted to the Mrs. that it might be time to get a puppy but she isn't ready just yet.

Thanks Steve, the lab folks are the best. If you are ever down this way you are more than welcome to stay here - I mean that. You'll have to stay in one of the bedrooms upstairs though. Been over a year since I've been up there. Ann has a craft room up there in one of the rooms. Haven't gone up there to look, don't want to, liable to get me PO'D with the mess that girl makes.

Meanwhile, the pecan trees are budding:

That means time to get the hands in the dirt - good for the soul. Put a small Thyme on a wall for the time being.

I believe it may work there, even though partial shade. Killing the mold and mew dew on the siding at the moment, as well as kill the weeds around the house. I was so glad that Monsanto's Roundup glyphosate patent expired. Thought about pulling these French doors off to refinish:

Changed my mind. Likes the way they look. At the time when I bought them at a yard sale, thought them cool at $20.00. Little did I know, they are a authentic. Had to order a lock set from France, Bouvet it is. Oh well. I was just taking a break, time for me to stop fooling around and get back to it.

Ahmmm, instead of tidying the upstairs, I was being a good human going St. Landry Parish Animal Control saving two little Lab mix puppies and transporting them for New Orleans Lab Rescue. They also had several horses, donkeys, a couple of ponies, and the prettiest little goat. Just in case anyone is looking.

P.S. The Rouses grocery in Morgan City has awesome sushi.

Hey Larry (Fish on line), sure enjoyed talking with your wife Delma yesterday evening on the phone. Heard you in the background carrying on. You folks sure love your dogs, really enjoyed that. Fine folks for sure. If you, or Delma, have additional questions about my redundancy, let me know.

The fish are broiling right now with onions, red bell peppers, and butter. Will work nicely with some brown/wild rice. I was going to say that's the best way to do it for a girlish figure - but, I bought a fresh made Doberge cake. The Doberge cakes are serious. A small slice of that with some Bryer's low carb ice cream will work this evening. I knows how to balance it just right.

Pooped, calling it good this evening after being out in the yard for the past ten hours. I bet y'all are wondering what yours truly will have on the smoker tomorrow. Well, maybe not.

Finally finished in the yard. Unwrapped the insulation around the top portion of the outdoor shower. We will enjoy that. When you don't have neighbors within a mile, it works nicely:

Marinated some baby back ribs this morning, Asian style for a change. Soy sauce, honey, ginger, etc. On the smoker it goes:

Smoked for several hours with the pecan smoke pouring to it. Sliced it, I do believe it will work nicely this evening:

That works I do believe for the time being. Chicks tear it up.
