I just can't believe it! I just finished applying the labels to 15 bottles of homemade muscadine wine, sat back to admire my work, and saw that my labels said 2013 instead of 2016! Then went to computer to make new labels and discovered I had no more blank labels! I should have realized things were going too smoothly.

Just finished reading the paper. I do such things. That Kris Wartell in the Lafayette Daily Advertiser for the luxury living/social page is a piece of work for sure. Can't stand that woman. There she is with a picture of herself before the articles leaning back in a conferable with the shades on her head. I know, can't help myself.

Reminds of the times with the missed deliveries I've had. I am adamant about my newspaper. Yes, I do realize it's tough for those who deliver...us folks out here in a rural environment. Once, or twice (many more), they have missed the delivery. The fella at the local distributor doesn't take my calls anymore. So, I call the main office in some big city. I tell them I want the paper delivered - in it's special box. Don't want it thrown out there on the blacktop. I like it in it's box. Once I called and told that person on the phone that if they can't deliver the newspaper - I want that bit..ch to drop off the paper in my box herself. I promptly get superior service.
Tomorrow, I'll place a jar of my jelly in my newspaper box as well in my mailbox as I always have done.
