As little as I watch the television, decided to turn it on last night to watch the opening ceremonies at the Olympics on the network (that's all I get on my antenna). What I saw as soon I turned it on was Brazil lacing the fun with a huge message about global warming. Images of carbon dioxide swirling the atmosphere were followed by projections of the world cities being swamped by rising seas. Promptly turned it off and read a book.
