LOL Black Labs do matter as well as yellow and chocolate. That dear friend is why Randy didn't get his dinner last night. LOL I spent the afternoon at the Cajun Dockdogs practice and got home too late to do the cooking. He had breakfast for dinner. I made it up to him today and fixed what he wanted. The cornbread is in the oven as I type.

    Fun from yesterday.

This is Otis. He came in 3rd in the world championship for extreme vertical last year. He's an awesome Cajun boy.

I like such things, and the daughter knows it, bless her heart. Love her to pieces. At least I admit it's tacky, and love it. Some folks have a "chandelier" above their "formal" dining room table in their sheet-rocked dining room. Not the way we roll.

Hey Randy, We have a summer baseball team here in Lexington. It is a league made up of mostly college players staying sharp in the off season. A good many of our players are from colleges in SC, NC and Ga, but a few from further away.
Friday night we were playing the Savannah Ga team and this fellow came to bat for them.
Did not get his name, but, yep, he plays for Texas A&M. Small world, I doubt when he signed with A&M he would have ever thought he'd be in Lexington SC playing for the Savannah Bananas. (Who in the world came up with that name??)
    Small world!

Update on sister-in-laws husband. Bone scan did not show signs of cancer. Enlarged lymph nodes will be removed as well as the right kidney with the very large
tumor. The main vein will be removed also. There will be chemo after the surgery. Surgery will be within the next two weeks. Hospital stay of five days, ICU 1 day
and full recovery takes 6 to 8 weeks. Prayers working. It could have been much worse. Thank You very much.

The women's gymnastics team this year in the summer Olympics will take it all, you wait and see. The strongest team yet I've seem. They will sweep all four of the individual events, as well as the all around title. I follow such things such as the women's ice skating events during the winter Olympics. USA rules.

Something I've never understood is why the Olympic Committee chooses sites where the country is impoverished. Apparently there are concerns about safety, availability of health services and the threat of infection from the Vika Virus did not help either.
I am not going to second guess their reasons, but the 4 top golfers in the world, (2 from the USA) have elected not to participate. Kind of puts a damper on things and makes me wonder why they picked Brazil. This is not news to anyone, the situation has existed for some time.
Politics I guess. That is usually the reason for decisions that make little sense.
