Also think about the placement of the water treatment system (sewer system). Here, it has to be at least 100' from the water well. Also, it has to discharge the fresh water somewhere - whether it be a creek, river, or a low area to dissipate. I know of some that utilize a sprinkler to distribute the water.

For your electrical power, install at least one blank conduit in the panel box that leads outside somewhere. May come in handy for out buildings. I currently have a main panel with five subpanels because I don't like the idea of long power runs. Also choose a panel that has inter-changeable breakers with other companies such as GE (Square D does not). Make sure the ground is isolated from the neutral in the panel (remove the interconnecting bar between the two buses). This is important for sensitive electronics, etc.

For plumbing, install a water hammer in the horizontal section before a fixture. Simply a tee installed with a 6 - 8" vertical piece attached with a cap. Allows for an air cushion, or shock absorber for surges and maintains constant pressure. For me, I designed my house for all plumbing to be on the outside walls, did not want any vents going through the roof.

You may also want to consider a "package" unit instead of a split unit for your AC/furnace. The thermodynamics I calculated is superior, and has worked for us well here for the past 25+ years.

Printed for my files Randy. Thanks very much. Met with my well man (friend) today and we discussed exactly what you mentioned. He quoted me a turn key price hooked up to
the house of $6,000.00 and the well a minimum of 200'. This was with a generator for backup electricity for the well. I have the fiberglass dome to place over the pressure pump
and generator and the well itself will remain accessible for pulling the pump if necessary.

The high school football season is over - bummer. I don't care for the current state playoff system in place. The "select" and "non select" teams playing separately. The "select" teams are the private Catholic schools. It's like give me a break, a 10 team playoff with two games in the first round with them. And they are so proud of themselves with a championship.

On a good note, Ann changed the sheets on the bed this weekend to the flannel ones. You fellas aren't living right until you tried those.

The current playoff system is a laughable matter. I can't believe we have 9 championship games. My brother-in-law coaches Mangham, so I will be in New Orleans this weekend.

A true master for sure. The Beatles were good, and a huge hit, but never could read/write music - didn't know how. Much like many today. The twin neck guitar Jimmy played on occasion was necessary to play such songs as the stairway to heaven - 6 string, 12 string, and acoustic.

I wish he was going to be there, but a real pleasure for sure regardless. Ann say's since it's a symphony event, I'll have to dress nice. She say's folks that go to symphony's are supposed to. She couldn't tell me why. I guess I'll call over there to inquire about that.

Any of you Baton Rouge folks who would like to have a early dinner with us (show starts at 7:30), we would enjoy that.
