Good idea Bruce. I've had my permanent tag stolen twice at public landings a few years ago (comment on your previous post). Some folks don't realize if they plan on keeping their trailer for five years, the permanent tag pays for it self (at least in Louisiana), then good from then on. My other trailers are the same way. I have a friend of 40 years in Arkansas that loves to get his wife's sewing machine out and repair his jeans. Kind of like this fellers. And he is not an artist.
And, he will wear them anywhere he wants too. His wife still loves him as much as his friends do.

Well Crapppp!!!
The Missus and I are packing for a 2 week trip to visit friends and relatives in Ohio and I realize it is getting warm in the house. Danged AC went out. I have a service contract but they can't get out until in the morning and we need to leave by noon to meet a commitment Sunday afternoon.
Hit 100 yesterday and today, not a good time to lose AC.
Why now, been working fine since we built in 2007???

With all the hubub going on I forgot to update this. The A/C guy was out at 9am and replaced a start capacitor and? got us going. I was hoping it was not a precusor to a bigger problem.
Now 2 weeks later we are headed home and my son says everything is fine and he set the temp back for us.
Been in temps in the low 80s and it has hit 100 at home so not looking fwd to that' but ready to be home again. We are in West Va. tonight and should get home tomorow afternoon.
Ready to take the boat out.

Wouldn't be so bad if it was the West Texas dry heat, but the humidity here is horrendous.

On a good note, a hot dog place opened up close to where I work. Picked one up and brought it back to work. The 9" Cajun dog has alligator sausage from Houma, spicy chili, Monterey jack cheese, and grilled onions. It was serious, and definitely a keeper:
