Taking a break, not hot out yet. Checked on the pecan trees. The tent worms are in migration up the trees, they always seem to move up in a group. Not sure what they're really called, but always on the pecan trees this time of year moving up:

I spray them hard, third tree thus far. Looks like the Jonestown of tent worms on the ground when I'm done.

Reckon they would make good bream bait?? We used to have them on our pecan trees when I was growing up, but I never tried them. We would knock down wasp nests and use the lava for bait along with earthworms we dug out of manure piles. Never heard of buying worms back then.

Randy be proud! Texas A&M just won the Carhart College National Bass Championship. Way to go Aggies. The highest Louisiana team was Nichols State from Thibodaux . They finished 3rd.

Saw in the Louisiana Sportsman magazine that BASS has rated that Toledo Bend is the top bass lake in all of the US this year. You'll get your double digit bass Danny before long, you wait and see my friend.

    Well Crapppp!!!
The Missus and I are packing for a 2 week trip to visit friends and relatives in Ohio and I realize it is getting warm in the house. Danged AC went out. I have a service contract but they can't get out until in the morning and we need to leave by noon to meet a commitment Sunday afternoon.
Hit 100 yesterday and today, not a good time to lose AC.
Why now, been working fine since we built in 2007???

Ray, come on down. We have plenty of room for you and your wife. We would enjoy that.
