Joe I don't think you could get a burial plot for that.Fish will probably be in transition then. Searay, the plate is only about 5 inches, never went through a detector with it. Only had it in me for 6 months. I think the boat looks terribly dirty right now, but after D'arbonne it will get a good scrubbing, oil change top and bottom and a new water pump impeller. And thanks for explaining about scaring the fish "G", I knew there had to be a reason they are hardly around, when I'm fishing. lol

Taking some use'em or lose'em vacation days so I get to spend the whole week at home with the doggies. This was my response when I asked "Would you like a cookie?"

I'm glad you didn't say that. I hate to moderate a guy in his seventies , who looks fit as a 30 year old.

Serious rain here last night. Vermilion river at flood stage:

Took this picture this morning next to the bridge by my mailbox:

We're good though, another 7+ feet before the goats get they're feet wet. They can't stand being wet, hate rain. They have a bench to get on in their little barn because they like being off the ground. I like keeping them happy.

It would take another 25+ feet before we get water on the porch. By then, the Lafayette airport will be 12 feet underwater. More rain coming this afternoon.

Gene - I bet your friend down river from me is seeing the water on his place.
