At 01:30 this morning I learned a lesson. If your dachshund wakes you up in the middle of the night don't put her in bed with you. She just needs to go outside and pee. The sheets are in the washer now.

The lesson we learned and sometimes forget is if they start whining and cutting up don't say shut up and go back to sleep they are invariably telling us the wooden back door is closed blocking the screen door with the doggy door in it. Note to self when waking later always remember to put ya glasses on or else ya might step in something unpleasant. Ya can't hardly punish em for it, they told ya and ya didn't listen.

The garbage guys just stopped in front of the house and grabbed our can I was sitting here looking at the forum when I heard them exclaim WOOOOOOEEEE!!! I am waiting for them to leave the hood fore I go get the can. Kinda embarrassing when ya gross out a garbage man.

Hey Cappy I took my mom's black lab hunting one year and she kept whining wanting to get out of the boat. This was not normal for her, she was a very well trained dog. Well so well trained that she didn't get out of the boat, we were set up for duck hunting. Well about an hour into the hunt, she couldn't hold it anymore and she emptied out right on my boat seat! I spent the next several minutes cleaning up her "mess". Couldn't get mad at her, she tried to tell me but I didn't listen! Boy was I glad I was hunting alone that day! lol

My labs will let you know loud and clear they need to go out. Whine at first, then start barking.

On another note, saw in the paper this evening that Brett Favre is one of the nominees for the pro football hall of fame. Good for him I say. Also saw Terrell Owens was nominated. I stopped watching/following pro football with that punk.

Pro football has gone to "Hey Dog!" and college football is much more interesting.

I like high school on up. The only thing about the pros is I am a Saints fan. Been one from day one. I watched their first ever game sitting cross legged on the floor infront of the ole black and white. Watched them through all 50 bad seasons bag head era and all. I still pull for em. And if we heading for the cellar again I will still be there. Tonight I am gonna strap on my head phones Lord willin and listen to high school ball on the local radio station they give scores and high lights from around the state. Come Sunday noon Lord say the same I'll be who dating!

Cappy...I used to make my own BBQ sauce years ago....one of the ingredients was strong black coffee.....I dont know what happened to the recipe but I might try winging it and try to make some sometime.

My Carencro bears beat the defending 5A state champion Acadiana last night 24 - 21. That will make folks notice. Love it.

Woke up at 3:30 and wide awake so I checked out several of the forums I frequent. Came here and having de ja vue seems I saw that salty comment some where before. Gotta love HS ball.
