I am still amazed that Georgia fired Mark Richt. He averaged about 10 wins a year playing in the SEC. As much as I love college football I am seeing it become more important than the education the college offers.
I like winning as much as the next guy, but winning at any costs is a bit over the edge.
Ann will be going to New Orleans late next week for the annual Lab Rescue group fundraiser. She's one of the organizers. A great cause:

Yours truly will be here tending to ours.
Get yourself a brisket, cut it, trim it, then stuff it. Fire up the smoker and pour the smoke to it:

Put it on for a few hours while you watch/listen to Texas A&M football. Yes, this works:

WE getting a ton of rain and wind from Matthew, but nothing like the coast. Some power outages in our county, due to trees down most probably. Other than some wind damage and a little flooding I think we will come OK in the midlands,
I was thinking of you Ray when I heard Matthew made landfall there. I suspect a foot or more of rain quite a few miles inland there, a large storm indeed. Thanks for keeping us posted my friend.

Sunset over Columbia,SC as Hurricane Matthew exits the state. Be a few days before all the damage is known. Lost a couple of the fishing piers on the beach and numerous homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed.
