Temped to fire up the tiller. Need to get corn in the ground. We always attempt to have two crops of the fine silver queen each year. Good stuff right there.

I put in 40 tomatoes yesterday. Boy was it nice to be able to dig in the dirt. I have at least 20 more to go but I think the rain will make me put it off for a few days.

So you started your tomatoes from seeds? They look great! How long did it take them to reach that size?

I started them in the house on Jan 13th and moved them outside into the green house as soon as the were all up. I thought I was way behind but putting them in the green house really give them energy to grow. They have been ready to plant for a couple of weeks but we were still having threats of freezes and frost. I hope that's over. Next year I will start them near the end of Jan.

I'm jealous of you guys already getting started in the garden. Can't wait to get started up here.
