Pretty cool place! Where is this at Gene? Fine looking grandson indeed. We need a picture of you or Linda lounging around with a cold drink with a little umbrella in it . Thanks for posting, enjoying it.

We woke up to rain this morning but it was gone by mid morning. After a great breakfast of breakfast tacos, biscuits and sawmill gravy, fresh eggs from my chickens and some very good sausage, we straighten up the place and put all the towels to wash. The boys (even us older boys) took off for a lunch at Hooters. After Hooters we parted company, my son and I went to get chair massages and the other boys went to the movies. Meanwhile the girls went shopping and to lunch on their on. They ate at Pompano Joes and sipped a few. It was my sons turn to play chef for the night and Italian spaghetti was on the menu. As usual I played sou chef while he was the Master chef. Cooking is such fun.

Here is a picture of my son and his lovely wife along with my new grandson. On the left is another of my grandson's, my daughter's son.

Of course no trip to the beach is compete without some pictures of some bathing beauties.

Love it! Excellent post Gene. Breakfast tacos, biscuits with sausage and gravy, and your fresh eggs for breakfast. Then to Hooter's for lunch. You're living well my friend, yes indeed. Looks like great fun. Thanks for posting! (I see that you had to take your infamous hat with you on vacation )

Today we made it home, thank God. It was a great time but "there's no place like home". I can't wait to sleep in my own bed tonight and with my own pillow. We usually bring our pillows on vacation but somehow we forgot to this time. I didn't realize how comfortable my air bed was until I tried to sleep on a foam mattress, no comparison.

I took a few more pictures to end the week and put in the album and I thought I share these too.

One day we rented a 'toon and went riding and swimming at Crab Island which is a shallow sand bar set up to have fun on. It has a giant slide, a bunch of floating things to climb on and jump off of, somewhat like what you see on TV on "Wipe Out". The kids really enjoyed it and played around 3 hours on it. There were at least a hundred boats on that piece of water. There was a floating burger stand, a place to by bait and fishing stuff and a few more. There was even an ice cream boat making the rounds and a hot boiled peanuts boat.

    My daughters acting silly.

    and not so silly

Here are a couple of shots of the pool, hot tub

and me relaxing at the pool.

Last but not least, a very nice couple, grandma and grandson.
