....i hear at the famer's market they sell like diamonds. hope so. how do you tell when one of these dudes gets ripe??
It depends on how you plan to use them. I pick them ripe (before they change color), to slightly over-ripe (orange/red). The over-ripe ones are less bitter and more sweeter. The same holds true for the various chilies, bell peppers, jalopenos, etc. Again how you plan to use them.
