    Default what i've been doing instead of fishing!!


    well, i have a pretty cool garden. i have right at 200 tomato plants, a scad of peppers and about 20 hills of squash. 6 rows of corn, and 2 rows of okra. i also am trying some tomatillos this year. the pics that look like tomatoes but have an absolute ton of blooms are really tomatillos.

    yall come see me and bring a sack. LOL

    my youngest daughter and i will be doing the farmer's market in town. not really to pay the bills, just spend some quality time together. if you can make the drive, i won't send you home empty handed. i could even put you on some crappie whiel you are here.

    oh no. i got a rear tine cub cadet. i just used that to get around the fence. also my duaghter cannot handle the big un, so she likes to get out there and run that lil honda around.

    Looks like you traded grass cutting for gardening! From the pics it looks like it takes up your whole back yard! LOL Sounds like you'll be well stocked for the market. And it's a good opportunity for the girls to learn about business operations...initial investment/labor/sales/profit! All that good stuff. Wish I like tomatos. I'd come buy from ya! Hope you still get to fish some!

    my exact sentiments Scott, mo garden, less grass. we grew tomotillos one year and had them out the cazoo, get ready!!
