I've never heard of a butcher only using a knife. They sure like the saws.

Maybe some lessons would have help. Old dogs can learn.

    >And there's no way I'd try to fillet a flounder with an electric knife!

Worked nice on the last one's I caught. See pic.

OK fellas....the decision has been made concerning the fillet knife. After much research and deliberation......I just ordered the Berkley TEC(lithium) cordless.I asked the girl from Bass Pro about their return policy.I have 30 days to try this puppy out.For $100,this thing better cut some slabs,or I'll be rolling to Denham Springs with my receipt! After the 30 day trial period,I'll give ya'll a review.

My camera was stuck on 04. It must have been last year. I really don't remember when, but I do remember were. The salt fish were south of the Pearlington Launch. The fresh water fish were north.

Adam said in a post recently that the pearl was still low. Could be time to try again.

I fish near Pump Slough off 59, which is always lower. Don't have a motor to run up near Pearlington in current, but I've heard good Red reports from there.

If I was a salt man, I'd be heading to Grand Isle right about now.

The best knives ever were the General Electric and you can't find them anymore, as far as the Mister Twister they have a decent motor but the blades aren't very sharp and don't hold up. The piranna blabes are very over rated and I feel they are useless for panfish. I only use them on redfish.

I've been with 2 different guides at 2 different places, Appalachicola and Delacroix Island, who had 2 different fairly new Mister Twister knives that stripped their gears while they were cleaning fish. On the 2d occasion I had my American Angler knife with me and the guide finished up with it and complimented how well it did.

WOW nice looking knife, but that price tag is hard to chew on. I guess I will just keep running the extension cord out and using my 110v and the 5 gal bucket for the bodies. I don't eat the ribs.
