Thread: 1st time pulling cranks-lot of fun

Went to Tuckertown with a fellow CDC member Friday to pull crankbaits, which was my first time. 10 minutes into the troll, my Baby Bass crank got a hit but I lost it near the boat when it caught a limb. A few minutes later, my middle rod looked like it was going to break in half before I could get it out of the rod holder. 5 minutes and a lot of drag later, I pulled in this 9.5 lb blue cat. We ended up with 1 BLACK crappie, 1 white perch, 3 nice channel cats, 1 blue, and 1 flathead. All on crankbaits. Action was slow but it was sure fun watching those rods double over when we got bit.
