Thread: Best NC lakes to troll cranks?

badin is a no go, just tuckertown, there are some whites in badin but the blacks are predominate

When the water gets hot and fish are sluggish I push cranks out the front with tight line rods. Going slow only seems to work in hot summer conditions. Right now I agree with Gobbler fast as you can with the equipment you have. High Rock has enough whites to make it work. Tuckertown has good whites but I get that black slime on the baits.
