Default Best NC lakes to troll cranks?

I live 40 minutes from Harris and Jordan, but don't know if they would be any good for trolling cranks due to white crappie population in those lakes. Any input from anyone? Hopefully I won't need to travel 1.5 hours away every time I wanted to crank.

I go through the pics from the different lakes on here to see if any white
crappie in pics. That is how I picked high rock as my closest lake with white crappie.

You can catch the blacks on crank baits. Use small lures and slow down to .5 to .7 MPH. I push small crank baits up front using 2 OZ trolling weights. These weights are molded on a 12 inch wire with swivel.

How deep do you troll them? I got Bandit 300's and Arkie 350's.

But I also use the 12' crappie max rods because they can handle the 2oz weights

i pull mine, if i wanted to fool with wieghts and go slow id tightline, pulling cranks is a fast in your face rod slaming afair, the point is to catch large scattered suspended fish. moving 1.5 i have covered twice the water that another person has at .7, but u need a lake full of whites for this to work

Which would mean that Badin/Tuckertown is closest lake for me to pull my deep crankbaits...
