Fished Harris today from about 9am - 4pm. Launched from the southern ramp and water temp was around 58, by the end of the day on the north end of the lake water temp was 64. Mikeski and I fished shallow, deep, points, creeks, coves, and flats on the Northern and Southern end. We marked quite a few fish in over 30', caught some really really small males in 35'. I ended up with 1 keeper size crappie 11.5", mikeski with 3 or so bigger perch. Whenever we'd mark fish we would catch 1 or 2, most on the very small size, and the bite would shut off. We marked quite a bit of bait in the 15-20' range but no fish to be found. Weather was great and it was good to get out though.

I think my keeper crappie total for the year is about 5 with many skunked trips. I figure if you do this hobby long enough its just as important to learn to get through these slow streaks, it'll make the hot bite feel so much better.
