JD - Sounds like things are coming together for you.
Thanks. It's taken long enough. I worried that the temps going to change soon and I'm going to be able to find them. Went back last night. My wife says I'm addicted. Had about the same luck. Fished 17-18 fow caught the in about 10 fow. Caught all sizes of fish. I didn't keep any still have plenty from the other night. All caught on minnows.
I'm thinking you'vepicked up some good ideas and if you go fairly regularly you should be able to stay on them. Last year was my first year back to crappie fishing after a long while and the only time I lost them was during late jan when it got REALLY cold and I was busy with work for about 3 weeks.
You really need to plan on taking that son to the Roanoke in March for some hickory shad catching. Maybe not because you may become a shaddict. My wife became addicted to them last year.
I need to. He's been having fun catch crappie. I just don't know where to catch shad there
keep in touch and I'll put you on them when the time comes next March
