Fished 17-18 fow caught the in about 10 fow. Caught all sizes of fish. I didn't keep any still have plenty from the other night. All caught on minnows.

I'm thinking you'vepicked up some good ideas and if you go fairly regularly you should be able to stay on them. Last year was my first year back to crappie fishing after a long while and the only time I lost them was during late jan when it got REALLY cold and I was busy with work for about 3 weeks.

You really need to plan on taking that son to the Roanoke in March for some hickory shad catching. Maybe not because you may become a shaddict. My wife became addicted to them last year.
