Hopefully some fish will start successfully spawning in that river soon. Currently the fish are all hatchery raised fish. Maybe with more of them in there and the rock ramp at Lock and Dam 1 it'll happen.

There aren't any wild ones? Dang. I've caught a couple in Snow's Cut and in the Brunswick River speckled trout fishing. My grandaddy had some pictures of some huge ones (20-30lb) he used to catch in the river behind the golf course in Riegelwood when he was a young man. I guess it was in the 50's or 60's, before they got wiped out. I hate to say it buy I know more than a few people who catch them in shad nets and keep em. I'd like to keep one too, but every one counts. I can wait.
