15 boats is correct. I fished areas from the Ice at the Farrington Bridge all the way to the S-Bends and did not get one bite. I quit at 2:30 and went home. In the end I think I got beat by myself as it seemed that you could have fished the bridges, caught a few keeper crappie and would have had a chance. Oh well, lesson learned.

I am not going to fish the one on the 15th because I want to go fish the Perch Bash on the North West river, however, I may fish the ones after that.

I was ready to hit the road and skip the weigh in. Didn't figure we had a chance with only 6 fish. Guess luck was with us, 'cause there was a lot more skill and experience out there than we could garner. It was a good day on the water(except the 36mph from 64 to the S-curves run early in the morning). Never a dull moment fishing with Tuttle, and got to meet some really good folks. Winning was nice, being able to participate was better though. See y'all at High Rock!

    Default Tournament today?

Good day on the water. Fish just didn't cooperate worst bite I've seen in awhile. Had a bad cranking battery and ended up using jumper cables back and forth allday to go from spot to spot till the batteries just couldn't take anymore. Wouldn't have mattered, fish just weren't willing to bite.

Congratulations Tuttle and Papa Dave. Good to meet you guys out there. It was also a pleasure to see Jeremy and Donald- especially with Jeremy reduced to two rods.
I think you would have had a few more if that boatload of dumb hadn't come in and tied up in your spot.
I gave it up with six small keepers in the livewell. Perfect supper for us and the cat.
Sure hated not seeing Newly-- NOT.

I'll have to share one funny story. We moved to a new spot and immediately had the biggest white bass I have ever caught hit my crappie minnow. In the next few minutes, we landed six whites and two stripers. While this was happening, somebody in a pontoon came over very close to us. I thought who is this crowding in on us while we are in a hot spot? Someone yelled over and said "Is that you Dennis?" I immediately recognized it was Jeremy. He caught a couple of small crappie while there, but no white bass. I was surprised that there were not any large crappie hanging out with the white and striped bass.

We moved about 400 yards back up the lake and that is where we found the crappie biting. I think we would have won the tournament there, but it started to rain and then the wind got up. It was a classic crappie spot with a south-facing flat just off the main channel. I will share one other bit of information I found interesting. Most of the day, the baitfish was schooled up over the channel. In the spot that we found the crappie, the baitfish were in shallower water. I don't know if the sun had warmed the water up enough to move the bait, but something different was happening in this spot.
