    Default Tournament today?

4.4 lbs won I think it was. Crappietuttle and papadave won. 1.4 big fish weighing in 6 fish. Not absolutely sure of exact weights. We caught one 11.5" fish. Two days ago I caught a couple good ones like this and left. Today could still see them on the finder but lockjaw. Threw everything at them we could. Water temp had dropped over 2 degrees in two days from 42.6 to 40.2. I guess from all the snow runoff. Great day to fish. Light wind.

how many boats?, sure wish i could have made it.
folks everyone should come out and support what rod is trying to do here, as you can see it doesn't take a bunch of big fish to win these things, its just a good group of guys getting together and fellowshippin.

It was a little slow today. I saw water temps as low as 38 on the south end of the lake. Our first fish was 1.25lbs. I thought it was gonna be a good day fishing with the light wind, but we only had four keepers. We caught a lot of shorts. The lake was frozen from just above the dam towards robeson creek. It was still a nice day of fishing. Name: NCM_0078.jpg

I launched from the visitor center at 2:55. Seaforth was closed and I didn't have time to peddle all the way up from ebeneazer. Missed you guys by just a few minutes! I got a picture that pretty much sums up my experience. Fish were there... They weren't biting though...

Yea I was surprised that Papadave and I won being it's the first time we ever fished a tournament, we tried slow troling at 64 bridge first no luck, we tried trolling in the s curves, no luck, we trolling at the bridge at Ebenezer, no luck so we tied on some bottom weights with a hook and fished minnows around and finally started catching fish we probably caught 50-60 with 6 keepers, I meet Newlys hero Chief ther fishing his 2 rods enjoyed talking with him, and we got to put a lot of faces to a lot of c.com members I've talked to on here but never met, I really enjoyed the experience, and I always enjoyed fishing with Dave, thanks for going with me Dave , and great cTch on the big fish Dave. And thanks again to Rod for putting them on.

At noon we hit a spot near the dam and caught six very nice white bass along with two stripers. It was the largest white bass I have ever caught on Jordan. There was some serious thump on our crappie rods. The clouds moved in and the bite quit, so we moved a few hundred yards to another location I wanted to try. It was about 1:30 and caught a 10" crappie right away. I then caught one at 1.35 lbs. and two more 10 incher's, with a few throwbacks. The wind then got up and we ran out of time. It's too bad we found the crappie pattern so late, but that is fishing. A big thanks to Charles (Hunter) for letting me fish on his boat and nice to meet his fishing friend Kevin.
