    I live in asheboro. Can anyone give me directions to falls lake and some advice on wherer to fish once there. ThankYou

    The quickest way, 64 East, hit the beltline going around Raleigh, get off on 70 W. towards Durham, (Crabtree Valley Mall) turn right on 50 or Leadmine (4th light i think), due north to the Hwy 50 boat ramp, opens at 8 am, but you didn't say what you were fishing for? This will get you in the lake, and it's huge!

    Default Crappie near Dam

    Fished a Bass Tourney on 5/1 and seen two slabs in the back of the coves opposite the dam. I could have caught a ton of 'em but was concentrating on Bass. BUT the crappie would follow a red shad worm all the way to the boat... had two or three followers each cast in the farthest coves before the old pond in the back of that cove..... Fishengineer
