I'm strictly a tightliner & use a 1oz egg sinker, 4lb test & 1 jig per rod. Generally I troll at .7 mph to 1.1 mph. But.... On our spring trip to High Rock, my friend prefers longlining, so I set up 8 rods, tightlining in front & 8 rods, longlining out the back. We both had great success with each method.
