Eno...do you mean per dozen instead of pound? And I agree with you about Gander Mountain, but what some people don't realize, if you bring a sales paper from Bass Pro Shops, or a computer printout, Gander will honor that price.

Let me tell you how crazy some of these places are. We used to buy minnows at Gander Mountain and always got a real good count. Buy 10 dozen and they give you 15 dozen, $1.50 a lb. Then they thought they was losing to much money so they went up to $3.00 a lb. Now minnows just set there and they gotta feed em. As a tackle store I wouldnt recommend Gander Mountain for anything.

If you are heading North on 49 in MP take a left at the Hardees. Go up about 1/2 mile and it is on the right. An older fellow runs it out of his home. I forget his name and the road name. Been away for 10 years and memory is the first to go.

Bayleaf Bait and Tackle

(Is hit or miss on if this place is open. Has been owned by a few different owners over the past 7 or so years because it keeps going out of business. Wish there minnows didn't die so fast so that I could give them more business, but I don't go there much because the minnows never seem to live that long.)
Nothing left to do but Smile Smile Smile
When I go to Jordan Lake I like to use the Wilsonville Exxon. It's on the right just after you cross the lake on 64. I like their tackle selection and what I really like is they have a driveway behind the store to get out so you don't have to fight 64 traffic.
