Lucky you were not hurt. I had to pull our boat around town on Monday and I was looking for someone to take out my motor at any minute.
I used not to be afraid of traffic or just driving thru town. Now I am almost afraid to pull out of the driveway. Seems like no one pays any attention anymore. We stopped by the south side Sam's Club this afternoon to get some gas here in Springfield. There are clearly marked arrows for what directions you are to pull into the gas pumps. Sam's Club has marked everything so that all cars and trucks are going only one way to get gas. And the pumps are placed wide enough for someone to drive between the cars and trucks fueling. Well I pulled in behind another car that was gasing up. And I got out and starting fueling. Next thing I know is the car in front of me gets done fueling and pulls out. Well another guy pulls in behind me and is waiting to fuel. Then this jerk pulls straight in front of me head on and starts fueling going the wrong way. It was all that I could do to pull out of the tight jam that he had put me into. Paula rolled down her window and tried to explain in a nice way to the lady sitting in the car to next time follow the arrow directions when fueling there. The lady got kind of nasty with Paula so I finished it. Yep they were going the right way if they think that big arrow pointing at them in front of their car was wrong!! LOL!
And with all the rain the last few days here in Springfield we have noticed the large amount of drivers not using their headlights when they have their windshield wipers on. Its the law folks follow it.
