Mix and mingle is right. Social skills are important. My two went through the pubic school system and both have B.S. degrees - one as a mechanical engineer the other as a chemist. I have colleagues at work who have home schooled their kids and they still live at home, or work in a coffee shop, or "trying to find himself" on a mission of some sort. Others down here send their kids to high priced Catholic schools for a "better education." It all comes out in the wash. My grandson was "diagnosed" with ADHD which I think is ......... He now walks around with a blank stare on is face. No more corporal punishment they say - drug them instead. I am proud to say, my wife and I did well - the proof is in the pudding they say. My two cents.
