Default The ole Champ is back.

The ole Champion is back in the garage after over a month in the shop. First it was at Truman Fiberglass getting the stuff they screwed up fix. Anyone that need fiberglass work done dont ever use Truman Fiberglass! After that it had to go to Pro Choice to get the lower unit put back on after my little bout with the RR tracks! By the may the RR tracks win everytime! Cant wait to get her out this weekend and sink a few brushpiles and do a little Spider riggin. Cant wait to try out the new gear i bought and tips i got at the Grizzly Jig show. Hope to see ya'll out there!

I worked a Truman Lake Fiberglass for a year about fifteen years ago, it was a good place to get your boat fixed. Not anymore I guess. I saw some pretty messed up boats come in there but one of the worst was from the RR tracks. This guy brought this bass boat in and it looked like someone took a chainsaw to the rearend of it, I guess he hit the RR tracks at full speed which broke his 225 hp motor off his transom and landed right behind the drivers seat and started chewing up the boat, the guy had his hat on backwards and the prop cut the bill of his hat halfway into, he showed us the hat. . he was just inches away from death.

Congrats on getting the boat back. I hope you put a bunch of slabs in it this weekend.

Glad you got it back. Your seat setup looked good. I am ready to start rigging again also. Now you just need to stay down river from the tracks and you will be fine. Warn all your buddies about how dangerous they are also and to stay away. Far far away

Glad ya got her back Champion. Those tracks can be harsh on a boat. I found them many years ago in a small boat glad i had a full Battery cuase my big motor prop was gone had to troll back to the ramp.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
