I've only caught one going that fast and it was short?

I fished for about 10 min. no bites...and yes I was on the trolling motor.

    I needed to burn fuel.

A little chop makes any boat run better....at that speed it feels like only the prop is in the water.

Thats because that is all that is in the water. Mine will do 63 but not that often on Truman. Sure nice when out running a storm back to the ramp. Glad they got you all fixed up and your back to fishing. Was good talking to you the other day. Glad you stopped in.

Glad she's up and running again Keefer. I would go nuts if mine went down like that. Heck sometimes i go out to the garage and fire it up just to listen to her.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
