Default Fall camp at Truman has started.

"OneRookie" Rick and Dale rolled in to the campground today. Hogster was down fishing and was going to swing by and see them late this afternoon. There is something about camp and cold fronts. Sounds like from all of them the fishing was slow. Hopefully with the weather gradually improving this week the bite will be back by the time everyone rolls in at the end of the week. If not we may have to trailer up to a couple creeks to fish or just stay around be campfire and drink beer and BS. I will be down a few nights this week to BS and may camp Thursdsy evening. See everyone then.

I'm hearing a chance of storms/thunder storms for Friday and Saturday.

Would not be camp with out some rain and storms. Does not matter when we plan it we always seem to get se crap weather. Hopefully we have enough canopies in case it rains in the evenings. We can always use the pavilion at Bucksaw if needed for meals.

Can't make it either. We had a rain delay weekend and it pushed back the last game to this Saturday.
    Good luck to all!

Stopped in and talked with Rick and Dale for an hour or so.They were having a rough go on the fishing as we were on Sunday but it picked up some on Monday. Was hard to come back to work for acouple days and not just stay there all week.I think the fishing will pick up by weeks end so it should be a good time all in all.Me and the son will be there Thursday afternoon.
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Sorry I will miss this one also. I'm right in the middle of working on my daughters new house. She really wants to be in by Christmas so she's cracking the whip right now. Hope you all have a great time. Drink one for me.

Will miss you, my brother. Is it ok if I drink more than one for ya?
    See you in November.
