The song's not over. When whoever is singing the National Anthem gets to the end of the song and they're singing "o'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave" when they sing "brave" the entire crowd shouts over the top of him/her "CHIEFS!"
Now....I didn't used to be offended by this...until I realized they were yelling "Chiefs!" and not "CHEESE!"

Fans do that at every level. I do NOT like it but it is what it is. I think it's mostly done out of ignorance, not disrespect. Most persons today cannot name a famous battle of any war anyone in our military has fought and died in. Hell, most can't even name the wars. It's a shame.
