Default Flat tire on my way home from camp - and got help from Good Samaritan

On our way home from camp I got a darn flat tire on the boat trailer. Coulda been way worse, but the home owner whose place I inadvertently pulled into, and blocked his driveway came to the rescue. I pulled off the road quickly into what I thought looked like an old seldom used road, turned out to be a driveway. The owner came out and instead of telling us to get off his property, offered his help. Rich Stevson, owns Custom Mobile Home & RV (660-647-3676). What a great guy. The two spare tires I had both were low on air and worthless. Rich went back to his home and graciously filled an air tank for us to use to get the tires filled and us back on the road. So I had to give him and his business a "shout out" for coming to our rescue. Thank you so much Rich.

Rich is pictured here on the right (tomtom on the left). If you need any mobile home service in the Truman Lake area (Calhoun), I'm sure Rich can help. Mention Crappie.com. I gave him a c.c hat for his help, and we chatted about fish for quite a bit.

Sounds like great folks- glad to be in a state where this isn't uncommon. Seems like spring time brings the good nature out in most everybody. Most folks in that mobile home business I've lived and worked with are helpful people- kind of part of the community atmosphere I've seen in some of the parks I've lived in during my college years. Plus- they hav a good sense of humor about life- Ever see this video? Cullman Liquidation Mobile Home Commercial - YouTube

A little MO hospitality. Glad it all worked out and Rich got you back on the road. You must have been taking a short cut home to end up in his neck of the woods.

Wow!!!! I hate that you had the flat tire Slab but I'm glad it worked out well for you. The guy at the Dam Store in Sardis, asked about you Friday. He said to tell you Hello.

Another bad luck - good luck thing. You meet the nicest people sometimes when you least expect it. Glad it turned out well.

Thanks all. We had a great time there, and even ended up fine with a little help from new found friends. A lot of storms rolled through Sunday night so didn't get much sleep. Kept getting woken up with loud thunder that sounded like it was right on top me. So it was a long tired drive home. Got to catch up on things now.

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
