I cannot ever seem to get it even halfway close so thought I'd ask you all. I was just wondering how many fish you figure per person when cooking for a fish fry. I know there are many variables, such as what other sides etc. there are, but just wanting to get a rough idea what everyone else does. Tomorrow we are having Christmas Eve Christmas at my mom's house and crappie is what I'm bringing and everyone is pretty excited. Probably be 12-15 adults and 5 kids or so. I'm going to cook 45 fish...I know we'll have leftovers with all the sides etc. but better safe than sorry. I personally thoroughly enjoy leftover crappie and would actually rather have cold crappie the next morning than hot fresh crappie...I love them both though, just saying.
