Just a short note, went to springfield this day and was wanting some lead, been trying my hand at pouring jigs. not to good at it at this time, but getting there,,, Jason, dongotto was telling me about fin&feather and the 1lb led chunks so headed there, nice store for sure,,, found what I wanted and some 4lb test line and a new lighter net, Michael guy behind the counter struck up a conservation and invited me to sit and visit, about stockton lake after about 30 mi of talk and swapping fishing spots I left a little better off for having gone there,, good folks,, just a small fishing store for serious fishermen... nice guys. I already forgot the tall guys name. but he and Michale read c.c so guys thanks for the visit, and yes Miss Sharon is real. and the better of the two of us..... if ya all are in the city give them a shot 2861 south campbell. good folks.

Yep Beagle, always made sense spending money with them and not everything with the big box up the street. Couple guys used to know, John and Rick started it many years ago, glad to see it still going.

Sounds like a great place Beagle. If I have a choice, I always shop with the local guy if I can.

Fuzzy .. I'm not sure what you're talking about, but some people could get the wrong idea

They get the majority of my business anymore. I love the place. Just a little tidbit of info about Fin and Feather is they have an e-mail newsletter/ sales flyer and if you sign up to receive it you get a card, kinda like a loyalty program and everytime you spend $25 you get your card punched and after punching it 10 times you get $25 worth of merchandise. Pretty good deal if you're spending the money anyways at least you get a little something for it.
Also coming up in February they have a customer appreciation day on a Saturday and right now the exact day escapes my mind but they have great sales and put on a pretty decent fish fry and feed.

hey there beagle thats where i go all the time,super nice guys and top quality merchandise.stooped there the day that u called and i told u i was in springfield and picked up about 35.00 good stuff

I have been in there several times also. Always like to hot the little shops to find things that you just don't see anywhere else. How much was the lead down there Beagle? I am needing some more also.
