ya thats for sure. i thought it was supposed to get cold and windy, not warm and windy. i didn't see nuttin yesterday and didn't go today because I got a little tummy bug after a xmas party last night! oh, well.maybe next weekend will be better hunting weather. of course I can't hunt as much because of the hollidays. I gueess those guys who plan the deer season dates don't have families.

at least ya got some corn fields to fall back on. if it snows much, they should hit that hard. I got nothin but acorns around my place. like walkin on marbles everywhere ya go. havn't seen much this year, between the weather and all the food out there. like you said, be that many more deer next year.

We spent the weekend chasin them with our muzzleloaders also........we should have went fishing instead. Didn't see a thing all weekend, neither my son or I saw a single deer. Oh well, next time we'll get em.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
