Really wet electronics
Ok a big oops. 2 weeks ago we went to local conservation lake to do some evening fishing. I always take a bag along that has my essentials. Wallet, sunscreen, bug spray, thermacell, phone, GPS, weather radio, walkie talkie, camera and a bunch of other stuff that husband shakes his head at. I keep the electronic stuff in ziploc bags. Weel thye aren't very waterproof we you get caught in a deluge and the bag is in the boat. It got REALLY wet. The Thermacell, walkie talkie, weather radio, new Off thing, camera & GPS got really wet. Like the bags were holding water. CrapDohDoh. Dump water out and when get home take all batteries out and open everything up the best I can. Lay it all out and hope for the best because it is all dead. Only the phone didn't get wet.Hands Clapping Slowly but surely it all dried out and came back to life. The first was the GPS and I think it might have been waterproof. My camera was the last thing to get dried out and work right. It took 2 weeks but it seems to be fine now. They camera was what I hated to loose the most. I really likes it. It is an older Kodak digital camera but I like the way it works.Hands ClappingHands Clapping So if you get something wet just give it some time to dry.
