I stayed at the one just down the street from the tackle shop in Clinton where Jarod works. Pretty clean, all the usual comforts, about 200 feet from what is called one of the best restaurants in Clinton.
And the rate was $49.95 per night.

I stay at a place called the USA Motel and recommend it highly. Very clean and affordable. Flat screen tv, AC, ice machine, microwave, fridge, boat hookups, wireless service (I think, I've not used it yet but am sure they have the service), etc. I like it a lot. It is on 7/13 just north of Everharts.
PS - whatever you decide, please post the name of the best restaurant in Clinton....... would like that info myself. We ate at a Mexican joint a few months back that was awfully good.... don't remember the name, but it is just south of the 7/13 intersection on the west side of the road. The best burger? Believe it or not, we like the burgers at the bowling alley.... out favorite burger joint in town by far. Always looking for better food places though...... please share.
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
grb22, that is where I stayed for the spring camp!! And Jarod or someone else will have to give you the name of the restaurant.
And, there is a Pizza Hut real close to!!
It is in the old Kentucky Fried Chicken place right across from a implement dealer and across from the pizza hut, used to be boss hogs out on 13 but they moved to there...........

That's the one!! thanks fella's, I sure couldn't remember the name of it!! But it's good food!!
That one is called Lesia's. Darn good food. The Mexican restaurant that's behind WalGreen's is El Camino Real and in my opinion it's the best Mexican food that I've EVER had. The service is fantastic, too.
Another good place for home-cookin style food is Smith's Family Restaurant which is located behind Wendy's/McD's in that strip mall.
