Here's a website that has multiple ideas on preserving morels.

The Great Morel - Preserving Recipes

Baller's method sounds like the best one so far.

I've seen dehydrated morels in the grocery store before. I wonder if using the dehydrator would work too?

Yep dehydration works great. I dehydrated some a couple of years ago and then put them in the freezer. Only takes a few minutes to bring them back to life in water.

For years(when I find enough!!) I have breaded and PARTIALLY fried mine, then lay out in a single layer on waxed paper to freeze. Then bag.

I've had fried mushrooms for Thanksgiving and for Christmas before....they are great...don't thaw them at all! Just drop them into the oil...only takes a minute or two.
