out the back door I looked, coffee in hand, frost in the mullberry holler. why not, no wind and
and the dogs are fat from the summer of laying arround the pen, I know they think of the hunt
as I do. Cast the hounds, listen for juniors first strike, two minutes and jonh henry puts in with him. it's on. think I will sit in the porch swing and listen to the race.
a good time to think about nothing. already they are on the hill side, through the honeysuckle
that will be tough always is.
just two dog today, 4 pups in the pen waiting on there day in the thickets.fall is tough on fat men and dogs.
peace man.
Beagle it just dont get much better than that.
May all your live wells be full.Dave
I love listening to the sweet music of beagles running a rabbit.
There aren't many things to compare to sitting on the patio, coffee in hand, a chill in the air, and the sound of beagles on a bunny. I love it! Michael, I'll be hunting these two girls this year. I'm looking forward to it.
"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty ia a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." - Benjamin Franklin.
Well they circled the bunny about 4 times, he put on a good run, then I be darn he came towards the house, ran under the back porch, couple minutes later two fat dogs came to the porch, well says I wheres the lead, snap,snap...... easy walk to the pen, done,

LOL Sounds like a good time to me. I like hearing hounds run as well. I fish a spot at Wapp that I can hear a race almost every morning I fish near there.
buddy and me use to take the pontoon to stockton, take 6 or 4 dogs. motor to a cove ease up to the bank, let the dogs out drop a coat, and anchor out a ways and fish all night, catchin crappies, and listining to them dogs run. drinking coffee, eating boiled oakra and celery on rye bread, man them was the good ole days,
