    Default Medical ID Bracelets

Does anyone wear a Medical ID Bracelet? As some of you know about 4 weeks ago I was told by my doctor I had type 2 diabetes. So far I am very lucky looks like I will be able to control it with diet and pills. I was told yesterday by the doctor she wanted me to get a medical id bracelet and start wearing it due to all my travels out of state and into very rural areas of Missouri. Some of the places I travel too I am a good 30 plus miles from any sort of hospital.

Well so far I was only able to find one at Wal-Mart and this thing is so cheap that I bet it won't last 2 months without breaking. First time I am at the farm its my bet it will break and end up in some cow pie!

Does anyone know of a good place to purchase a good heavy medical id bracelet?

    Thanks,

    Dan

When the wife had to have one we got it from Medic Alert http://www.medicalert.org/shop/shopH...ed=Shop+for+ID
very durable bracelets and necklaces at reasonable cost.

Thanks for the website! I was looking for that place. Hey has anyone tried one of those bracelets with the USB computer hookup?
